What is PAP Therapy and how will it help me?
PAP (Positive Airway Pressure) therapy is the most common and effective treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea. A PAP device is a small machine that delivers a gentle flow of air to keep your airway open. PAP therapy is currently the best treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea. This treatment can improve or resolve daytime sleepiness. It can also improve heart function and hypertension. You may also experience other significant health benefits.

Will I stop snoring?
Most often with PAP therapy snoring is resolved. Your loved ones will be most Thankful!

Will I need PAP therapy for the rest of my life?
PAP therapy is a lifetime treatment, however; some positive changes in lifestyle, such as weight loss, may lead to a decrease in the therapeutic PAP pressure, or may eliminate the need for continued PAP therapy. Only your physician can make that determination, which is why it is important to make and keep your follow-up appointments.

What if I decide PAP therapy isn't for me?
PAP therapy is the most effective treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea. It may take some time to adjust to the equipment.
