The Sleep Center of Greater Pittsburgh performs home sleep testing(HST), as an additional method of testing for the diagnosis and treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea. If a home study is recommended by a physician, or mandated by a health insurance carrier, the Sleep Center of Greater Pittsburgh can provide the home study testing equipment directly to the patient.
We have board certified sleep physicians who will interpret the data from the study and provide a report to the referring physician.
Home Sleep Testing is a screening tool to help with the diagnosis of Obstructive Sleep Apnea. If you have an OSA diagnosis, one of our sleep physicians may have you return for a treatment sleep study to be completed in one of our sleep labs.
